Southern Sri Lankan rice is rich in fiber and iron contents in comparison to rice from other regions in the world. When you consume rice from southern Sri Lanka, you are consuming a product grown with minimum use of harmful pesticides and other agro-chemicals. These environments located in the most suitable climate have been well-preserved historically over ages only for growing rice and are not used for other crops cultivated using pesticides.
